It has been a busy month! Reggie and I have traveled up north (it was cold), visited with my brother and sister-in-law, and I started a new job.
Traverse City was a little bit of a bummer. Reggie only lasted in the lake for less than 10 minutes in the lake- which tells you how cold it really was. It has to be pretty bad to get him out of the water, away from a fetch toy. He had to settle for playing outside and indoors.
We also were visited by my brother and sister-in-law, without their dog Stewie. They live in Seattle so Stewie did not travel. Reggie’s Aunt Dao is a chef and he made out with some super treats! Anybody new is clearly there to pay attention to Reggie, as evidenced by Reggie’s attempts at being a 65 lb. lap dog in the car with Uncle Steve!
My new job is great, although a lot busier than where I was before and with a much longer drive until I move back into my own house. Reggie is back in daycare to make sure he gets the right amount of exercise until I move back into my own house. My little Romeo has two girlfriends at daycare, yikes!
The next couple months look to be a whirlwind, no slowdown here. But Reggie and I are certainly looking forward to being able to go home and settle back into our routine 🙂
It’s been a whirlwind of a summer at Reggie’s House. Due to our new Hollywood lifestyle, time is scarce. Readers you may recall I had an opportunity of a lifetime to rent my house to movie execs while they are filming Batman here in Michigan. The catch- I had one week to move, and it is for a 6 month duration.
Reggie has made several new daycare friends (well, girlfriends). I have met and cared for many new dogs and cats while pet sitting. And in the midst of all this, I will be starting a new job! This means we need some time off and a vacation.
Reggie’s House will be taking a few weeks off to rest, visit with family, and go Up North (aka Traverse City to non-Michiganders). Reggie and I are looking forward to the visit of his Uncle Steve and Aunt Dao (sans Cousin Stewie) in the next two weeks- they’ve never been here to visit him!
There will be Wordless posts throughout our break, and if I can post I certainly will! Otherwise, Reggie’s House will return with regular posting on August 24 🙂
